Concerts and Events
We hope you can join us for the following concerts!
We are excited to invite you to a rich evening of music and stories behind the songs, with both Graham Jones and Skye Peterson. They will both be playing a separate acoustic set of their music and Skye will be accompanied on the stage by Thomas Austin.
About Graham Jones
Graham Jones, Texan singer-songwriter, traces the story of the gospel through thoughtful lyrics and rich melodies. Inspired by six-string storytellers like Jon Foreman, John Mayer, and Andrew Peterson, he creates a sound that is uniquely joyful and contagious with longing.
His debut solo record The Story’s Still Alive(2020) deliberately walks through valleys of darkness, grief, and doubt with eyes lifted up to the hope of redemption in Christ. The following year, he released his second album, Good News, Great Joy—a concept record for Advent that tells the story of Christ’s coming from Luke 1-2.
Graham serves as the worship pastor of The Fields Church and works as a musician for Texas Winds Musical Outreach. He enjoys movie scores, fantasy novels, games, and most of all, chocolate chip cookies.
He lives in Arlington, TX with his wife Bethany, their son Luke, and their golden retriever Daisy.
About Skye Peterson
We are grateful to have Skye back in Harrisonburg and to be a stop on her tour.
Based in Nashville, TN, Skye Peterson is a singer-songwriter who strives to communicate the truth through story and song. After studying theology at college, she believes that there's a Kingdom that needs to be sung about.
Skye is working on her new album and has been releasing new music as a part of the project. In September she was apart of the Sing! Conference 2022 at the Opry in Nashville with Keith & Kristyn Getty where she got to sing "Take Shelter" and other unreleased songs. In December she was on the Behold the Lamb of God tour which included many stops throughout the country and included 2 nights at the Ryman Auditorium.
